I want to start this blog to keep track of life.
A lot has changed for me in the last five months.
I started my college career at the University of North Georgia in August. I moved in to traditional dorms, Donovan Hall. I absolutely love living on a hall of 28 girls. Traditional bathrooms are just what you think. 4 sinks, 4 toilets, and 4 showers for all 28 of us. I have made great friends with 4 girls on my hall and we spend a lot of time together. I was lucky enough to move in to a room by myself. This changed however the Thursday before Thanksgiving break. Having a roommate is not horrible but I loved a room by myself. Overall, it was a great first semester.
I took 16 hours, which was not bad. I was in Biology and Biology lab, Freshman English, Psychology online, American History, and Freshman seminar. I finished with all a's and a b. College was very different for me but I felt prepared. It was a great time to grow as a person.
The biggest change for me was starting my job at North Point church. I have attended their for most of my life, but in August I began working there. It was a big change, joining the working world. It was the first time I had hours to work each week and a paycheck coming in. I am actually working as an LDP, Leadership Development Position. I work with a phenomenal group of ladies and have grown so much under their mentoring and they are always there for me.
It has been a great first semester and I am looking forward to this next semester.
